Greece is bejewelled by hundreds of beautiful inhabited islands and during the years that I lived in Greece, I was fortunate enough to go to many of them. Despite my explorative eagerness to visit at least one new island every summer, I ended up revisiting one particular Cycladic island over and over again. Paros.
With its stylish capital, fashionable resort towns and the sweet rural villages, the island appeals to a cosmopolitan crowd but is less showy and crowded than the ever so popular Mykonos.
For the past few years we’ve been renting a beautiful 4 bedroom Villa in Isterni. The location is perfect because we can reach our favourite beaches (Santa Maria, Little Santa, Ambelas) as well as the picturesque fishing village of Naoussa, in a mere few minutes.
I will back in Paros in June, so stay tuned because I will be trying out new restaurants and bars and will be writing about what’s hype and happening on the island this summer.
